It’s un-Australian for a year to pass without a Regurgitator tour and being the patriotic lot that they are, the ‘Gurge are heading out on the road for their annual tour – this time on their Annual Sail tour which kicks off in Townsville in early August. Following the permanent relocation of Ben Ely and Quan Yeomans to Melbourne, the perpetually eclectic three piece made the decision to eschew traditional forms of releasing albums and singles and are now indeed a guerrilla musical unit.

Leaving their pallet wide open, they’re now using brush strokes both large and narrow to continue their musical output, meaning that fans can obtain and inform their music in ways previously impossible. As for tours, however, they still know how to pile in to the Tarago and hit Australia’s highways with a vengeance, leaving no medium sized town unvisited nor a crowd disappointed. If you don’t live near one of the towns on this massive tour, it’s time to move!
