Oh yeah baby gotta love the Bee Gee’s.. Mumma aint gettin those records back.. And NO I’m not gay
What’s on heavy rotation on your iPod right now?
I listen to bands like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Queens Of The Stone Age and Ryan Adams & The Cardinals a lot, but if we’re talking about heavy rotation right NOW, then The Beach Boys are getting a flogging on my ipod!
‘Home taping is killing the music business’ was the catch-cry of the record industry in the 1970s, but it managed to survive until now. What do you think is the difference between mates taping copies of friend’s records back in the 80s and 90s and file sharing now?
Well we’re all broke in the music business now aren’t we? I wonder how Axel is going? Let me answer this question with another question. Can everyone go ahead and buy our new fucking record????
You must answer this question honestly or we steal your rider. What was the first gig you went to.? Where was it and what was the venue?
I really want to lie and say it was Nirvana because that would be bad arse, but I was probably 3 when they were here, so unfortunately, I’m going to need to be honest and say The Chili Peppers at SFC, I along with 30,000 other people got my tits out.
What’s your favourite site to download music from and do you ever pay for it? Can we find any of your releases there?

What artist made you want to pick up an instrument and/or sing?
My brother in-law inspired me to play and listen to music. I wanted to do everything that he did because he was cool and I looked up to him. I became bitter and planned to kill him… until one day I discovered Kurt Cobain and from then on it was all noise and deaf neighbours.
What’s been your most outrageous rider request?
Lady Gaga…. in person, providing us with fresh fruit, a variety of delicate hand squeezed juices, and crack cocaine! We couldn’t get in touch with her though so we settled with nothing.
Because it’s more fun to do things together, which living Australian artist would you most like to collaborate with? Tell us why?
YOU AM I for sure! Because we like the way they’re put together! Seriously though, what rock n roll band in Australia doesn’t want to work with You Am I? Because they do it right! We’ve opened for them in the past and got a little taste of how & why they are so respected. Plus we’d probably get more girls if we collaborated with them.
