Generation defining rockers Smash Mouth have announced their triumphant return to Australian shores after a lengthy five-year wait. The hitmakers, responsible for anthems like ‘All Star’, and ‘Walking On The Sun’ will be making their way to Sydney, Brisbane, Albury, Canberra, Wollongong and Melbourne this November.

Back in 2013, the band took their catchy as hell sound to the Leagues clubs and RSL’s of the country, now, they’ll be graduating to rooms like Sydney’s Enmore Theatre. Ah, the power of millennials, and memes.

In the last two years, ‘All Star’ has been meme-fied to the nth degree – its presence in pop culture has been basically inescapable. From Seinfeld theme-song remixes to covers from EDM superstars The Chainsmokers, ‘All Star’ has renewed its meaning for a whole generation of internet addicts.

If you’re sick of hearing half-baked ‘All Star’ covers, now’s your chance to hear it from the purveyors of pop rock themselves, with tickets going on sale Friday, July 20th.
