As a new decade rolls in, 90’s rockers Soundgarden look set to reform after a 12-year hiatus.

Soundgarden split in 1997 following tensions in the band and personally, however yesterday the bands frontman Chris Cornell blogged and tweeted:

“The 12 year break is over and school is back in session,” the message read. “Knights of the Soundtable ride again!”

Members of Soundgarden have played together since the disbandment, but Cornell has previously said that they wouldn’t consider any reunion a full reformation unless all the original members were involved.

Their has been no announcement as to when or how the reformation will work, but we will keep you posted!
