Soundwave Revolution keeps getting closer, with news in that after Perth looked to be likely to miss the tour, a venue has now been secured. While that date was locked in and logistics sorted out, the festival’s final line up announcement was postponed. Rumours had been swirling that Rage Against The Machine, Alice Cooper, Kiss and even Ozzy Osbourne might be announced as headliners. However, these were kyboshed when all but the chance of Kiss appearing were ruled out by other touring plans.

Organiser AJ Maddah then upped the ante by telling fans on Twitter the cryptic news “Well, the darnest [sic]thing just happened… Just had a call from a certain theatrical rock legend’s people asking about #swRevolution. Could life be imitating rumour?” While this announcement certainly added fuel to the fire leaving fans wondering if at least one of the aforementioned headline rumours might indeed be true come the final announcement. While that still appears to be a few days away, the following 49 bands HAVE been confirmed, as well as the Perth date.
