Kiwi trio trio Street Chant are heading out across the ditch to the West Island to celebrate the Aussie release of their album Means. They’ve previously given music fans a hint of what they’re capable of with shows in Melbourne and Sydney, in addition to supporting The Dead Weather in Australia in 2010.

Back in the Land of the Long White Cloud,  Street Chant picked up the Critics Choice Music Award 2010 and have shared stages with The Fall, The Black Lips and The Clean,  as well as playing The Big Day Out, Laneway Festival and numerous others. They’ve also trekked across the Pacific to play at CMJ 2010, SXSW 2011, Los Angeles and Washington DC, picking up plenty of love from influential blogs and media outlets.
