Tenacious D are teasing something big on their Instagram page. They’ve published an assortment of cartoons, some in video form, all with bizarre imagery. The accompanying audio features maniacal cackling, some strange yelling and even a song snippet about “going to have lots of sex in space”.
They’ve also posted an Instagram story stating “Hey Instagram, the D is finally back! We’ve got big news tomorrow, so stay tuned.”
Earlier in the year while performing at Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, Jack Black took a brief moment out of their set to announce that a sequel to their 2006 film The Pick Of Destiny is set to be released in October.
These latest Instagram seem to be the beginning of this next Tenacious D adventure.
