Tone Deaf is glamming it up as we welcome Sydney’s all conquering The Art as they launch their new album Here Comes The War in the hot and sweaty confines of Melbourne’s rock n’ roll central, Ding Dong Lounge. Since going to America as The Follow and returning to Australia as The Art, the band have been busting their chops playing with a who’s who of international bands – from Marilyn Manson to Them Crooked Vultures – Black Rebel Motorcycle Club to 30 Seconds to Mars and this will be the smallest stage they’ve seen in a while.

Joining them for a night of excess are the industrial rock fear and loathing of Attack of the Mannequins, fresh from playing with Blondie in their only Australian club show, as well as rock n’ roll skulduggery of Archetype. With special guests on the night and the Tone Deaf DJ crew playing glam, indie rock and roll platters until the wee hours, we’re also throwing in $5 shot specials and $10 jugs before 10pm. Most importantly, the next day is a public holiday in Melbourne and we’ll help you party until 4am so you can spend the day in bed.
