We’d like to know a little bit about you for our files, but we don’t like regurgitating press releases or asking the easy questions. At Tone Deaf we only ask the tough questions, so just hold still, grit your teeth, clench your buttocks and be still while we put on the rubber gloves, apply the thumbscrews, and pull out our thermometer while you open up and say ahhhhhhhhhhh… Truthful answers only or we drink your rider while you’re on stage.

Who gets the most ‘off stage action’ in the band?  What’s the secret to their success?

This question is for rapists. Tame band we have Girlfriends. STD free.

Have you ever been arrested? Where were you, and what was it for?

Yeah, America, stealing a whole trolley of groceries with a freshly dislocated shoulder. Halfway across an icy car park thinking i was getting away with it (for the second time) and then BAM, tackled by the sniper security guard.

What’s been the worst day job you’ve ever had?

Orchard work, repetitive brain melting shit, apples for days.

Sex, drugs and groupies – In what order do you prefer them and how often?

Just the second one, customary joint after each show.

Take us back to the first gig you went to. Where was it and what was the venue?

Nelson, NZ. Tim Finn , deja Vudu & Betchadupa (Liam Finn).

There was about 8 people watching and I was sober but seeing those stoned monkeys turned up so loud made some sorta impression on me.

What’s your favourite site to download music from and do you ever pay for it? Can we find any of your releases there?

I download Metallica just so i can delete it without listening to it.

What’s the farthest you’d go to win over a new fan?

A handshake. If they need more than that they’re in the wrong place

Right, thanks for answering the tough questions, tell us about upcoming gigs/tours and releases?

Uhh theres a show at your mums funeral next week, & just in time for Xmas our album launch at the Grace Darling in Melbourne on Thursday 23rd December.
