There’s a rumbling in the deep as the Cruel Sea emerge from the billowy depths to shake off the barnacles and deliver some salty grooves and bone crunching tropidalia. People who have seen this band know that as live performers they’re one of the country’s finest. ARIA award winning and chart topping albums including The Honeymoon Is Over that ranked 57th in the Triple Hottest 100 Australian Albums of All Time.

Tex, Jim, Dan, Kenny and James have been busy pursuing other projects and the Cruel Sea have been remaining elusive and somewhat mysterious. However, they smuggled in a rocking show to open the prestigious and world class MONA in Hobart in January this year and are now firing up their steam-powered ship and playing a small run of shows to coincide with the Queenscliff Music Festival and Golden Days Festival.
