Melbournian blues rockers The Groves launched the film clip for their single “Down With The Ship” on August 10th with a sold-out show at The Grace Darling. Filmed on an iconic Punt Road rooftop, and funded by a Pozible campaign; the video features a tight, pacy blues shuffle, wailing vocals and frenetic guitars.

In May 2013, The Groves and their amazing crew spent one very long day and night filming the upcoming video, funded by a Pozible crowd funding campaign. They received an overwhelming response and reached the goal of $1,400 in less than 48 hours, and have since surpassed it. Have a look here: www.pozible.com/thegroves

The second half of 2013 will see the four-piece outfit step up their presence in the local scene, with a three-month run of local shows after which they will retire to the studio to work on their second EP, to be released in the summer of 2014.
