Last month it was announced that AC/DC’s national tour in support of their new album, Rock or Bust, would be supported by none other than Swedish enfant terribles The Hives and homegrown favourites Kingswood.
Apparently, the Scandinavian rockers have a tendency to get restless in between dates, so they’ve now announced a special free appearance going down at Frankie’s Pizza By The Slice in Sydney tonight (Thursday, 5th November).
The band will be getting behind the decks for a special DJ set, which will see them spinning some of their favourite tunes, sinking a few cold ones, and laying waste to “slice after slice of the Southern Hemisphere’s finest pizza”.
Head down to Frankie’s Pizza tonight to see the Swedes do their thing and check out the Facebook event page for more details. There’s bands from 8pm, before The Hives kick off their behind-the-decks antics at 10.30pm.
AC/DC kicked off their Australian Rock or Bust tour in Sydney earlier this week – check out snaps from the gig here. The Australian hard rock legends will be gigging their way through November and December with stops in the major capital cities.
