The Kooks will return to Australia in Dec/Jan for their first tour in three years and have announced headline shows around Falls and Southbound Festivals. Having sold out two previous Australian tours, including a sell-out night at the Hordern Pavilion Sydney, you’ll be wanting to snap up tickets as soon as they go on sale.
The Kooks third album ‘Junk Of The Heart’ released in September, was written by The Kooks, produced by Tony Hoffer (Beck, Air, Belle & Sebastian), and recorded in The Sound Factory (Los Angeles) and Sarm Studios (London). In a press release, frontman Luke Pritchard said: It’s upbeat; an album to play in the sun. What we really wanted to do was build a proper, full album. Something you can listen to from front to back. We’re an album band and this is a journey you come on with us.
Fans will no doubt hear classic songs from the back catalogue, as well as the new material.
