To mark the release of their new album on 22 July The Ending Is Just The Beginning Repeating , The Living End is heading out on the road for their first headline tour in two years. The band’s first single of the same title as the album hit the airwaves in early June and sees the band back firing on all cylinders. The band are heading through the country to six capital cities,with September’s album tour deliberately booked in to club venues to ensure high-octane performances fans can get up close and personal to.
The Living End are also going to give a lucky high-school band the gig of a lifetime, as they play a lunchtime high school show as a part of triple j’s Unearthed High. Appropriately, The Living End have called on 2009 winners, Ballarat’s Hunting Grounds to step into support duties, with their live ruckus. Opening up proceedings will be King Cannons, another firecracker six-piece, who are from Melbourne (via NZ); blasting out rootsy rock’n’roll fire and passion.
