The Naked And Famous Groovin The Moo 2014 Sideshows have been announced.

Having just toured Australia with the Big Day Out 2014 tour, the New Zealand synth-rock band are set to hop the pond once more for Groovin The Moo 2014 this April/May.

Having released their second studio album, In Rolling Waves, The Naked And Famous dazzled audiences around the country with their widescreen, electronically-charged rock as part of the Big Day Out 2013 lineup, but these Groovin The Moo Sideshows offer the chance to catch the Kiwi favourites in a headline setting.

Co-produced by The Naked And Famous and Justin Meldal-Johnson (Beck, Paramore, Nine Inch Nails), In Rolling Waves features the singles ‘Hearts Like Ours’, ‘A Stillness’ and ‘I Kill Giants’ – all which have become proven to ignite the stage in the live setting.

The Naked And Famous will also be drawing from their much-loved 2010 debut Passive Me, Aggressive You, showcasing the yearning yet gripping power of vocalist Alisa Xayalith in key anthems like ‘Punching In A Dream’ and ‘Young Blood’.

Joining The Naked And Famous for their Groovin The Moo 2014 sideshows will be Australia’s own Vancouver Sleep Clinic, the musical non de plume of 17-year-old Brisbanite Tim Bettinson. A Triple J Unearthed Hight 2013 finalist, Bettinson’s intimate songcraft and vulnerable production have drawn favourable comparisons to Bon Iver and James Vincent McMorrow.

The news of The Naked And Famous Groovin The Moo 2014 Sideshows arrives following similar tour announcements from fellow GTM-billed acts, including UK grime scamp Dizzee Rascal, New York indie duo Cults, Melbourne singer-songwriter Vance Joy and mighty electro duo The Presets.

Meanwhile, the regional tour announced its first sell-out last week, with tickets now completely exhausted for the Bendigo leg of Groovin The Moo on its 10th Anniversary trip this April/May.
