The Nation Blue have clocked up a whopping 15 years as a band, starting out in Hobart in 1996 before hipping their gear across Bass Strait on the Spirit of Tasmania in 2001 and setting up shop in Melbourne. Apart from becoming one of Melbourne’s most loved bands, they’ve also managed to lose a bit of hair, a lot of blood, a bit of hearing, but also gain some weight. Theoretically, it all evens up in the end. Hence, they’ve decided to hit the road to celebrate their survival the only way they know how, by playing a string of shows. To give fans a little something to celebrate, they’re also giving away an unreleased track by their fan page.

Hitting the road this May and June, they’re also dragging out noise terrorists Lo! (for fans of Breach, Old Man Gloom, Converge), and Firearms to add to the sonic soup. Check out the amusing promo video for the tour below:
