The Pierce Brothers Australian Tour 2013 has been announced to coincide with the release of the siblings’ new single.

Having just returned from a successful tour of the UK recently, and selling their 10,000th copy of their Blind Boys Run EP, The Pierce Brothers are fast carving a reputation around the country as an incredible live act and an equally successful independent concern.

The boys are now excited to announce a run of dates to launch the imminent release of their newest single ‘Tallest Teepee In Town.’

Recorded by Cam Trewin (Kingswood) and mastered by Steve Smart at 301 Studios in Byron Bay, ‘Tallest Teepee In Town’ sees The Pierce Brothers – Jack and Pat – compounding their captivating fusion of roots rock foot stomping indie folk. These shows are not to be missed and their final headline dates for 2013.

The new release follows what’s been a very big year for the duo, including support slots with the likes of The Beards, Ash Grunwald, The Bamboos, Icehouse, BONJAH, Donovan Frankenreiter, and many other.

Smashing together high-energy performances and mixing harmonies reminiscent of Simon and Garfunkel, the old folk of Neil Young and the shuffle and shake of Mumford and Sons; their alluring tunes have won over crowds throughout the country.

The Melbournian twins have graced big festival stages through to wild Bourke st sets, and they’re not stopping any time soon.
