Ooops, The Rapture were probably being spanked soundly overnight by the promoters of the Future Music Festival after front man Luke Jenner revealed to Triple J Mag that the band will be back in Australia in March to play the Future Music Festival.

Jenner said “It hasn’t been announced yet but I think in March hopefully we’ll be back for Future. I don’t think I’m technically supposed to tell you that so let’s just keep that between you, me and the rest of Australia.”

The Rapture were last here over New Year when they played the Falls Festival in Lorne in Victoria and Marion Bay in Tasmania. Regular visitors to our shores, Jenner has revealed that Aussies have been a big help to the band when it comes to putting food on the table (or at least he loves the exchange rate with the Aussie Dollar).

He says that their regular trips down under have “kept me alive for the last five years and kept food on the table for me and my family. So I have a deep respect for Australia and the people and it’s just so much fun to play there.”

The band will be out touring their new album In The Grace Of Your Love, released in Septmber, which was preceded by the first single ‘How Deep Is Your Love?’. Other acts tipped to play Future Music Festival include The Strokes and Two Door Cinema Club.
