The shit stirring music website Tone Deaf has become one of Australia’s leading music websites over the last year. Not content with just duking it out with the music business and taking the side of music fans on everything music related, the crazy bastards that run the site have also been putting on some of Melbourne’s biggest rock n’ roll parties at venues like the Ding Dong Lounge, Cherry Bar and Revolver.
Not content with their reputation in their home town, they’ve embarked on a plan for world domination and they’re taking the first step by bringing their debauched parties to Adelaide next Month. Saturday 5th of March will see them take over the Rocket Bar for what will be the first of a wild series of monthly parties at the venue. Headlining the night will be Adelaide’s own Lady Strangelove, who have just rolled back in to town burning with an urge to debut the recent tracks they’ve just been recording with Tool producer Sylvia Massey in the USA. Joined by Melbourne’s Redcoats who are preparing to hit the road with Stone Temple Pilots & Adelaide’s own Ride Into The Sun, they’ll be trading licks with the Tone Deaf DJ crew playing the best rock n’ roll, indie and garage classics as well as some stonkingly good drink specials – all we can say is ADELAIDE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! The mad bastards from Tone Deaf are coming to town!!!
