One need only look towards triple j’s weekly Like A Version sessions to know that Australians love a good cover version. It seems that one thing we can’t get enough of is a fresh new take on an old classic, and no one has managed to do this better than New York City’s brass-wielding busking sensations Too Many Zooz.

With Too Many Zooz gearing up for their second Aussie tour (and second in three months!), we’ve decided to take a look back at some of the group’s finest moments in which they’ve taken inspiration from some of music’s biggest names, putting a new spin on some classic jams.

Yes, from Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’, to Ed Sheeran’s ‘No Scru-‘ uh… ‘Shape Of You’, Too Many Zooz have proved that they can take any song and lay down a brilliantly horn-filled take on it. With covers from AC/DC and Sean Paul as well, there’s a reason why these New York musos’ talent has been noticed all around the world.

Too Many Zooz are set to touch down in Australia in just a couple of weeks for a series of shows which will see them play festival sets in Adelaide and Perth, as well as headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney. Tickets are on sale now, so be sure not to miss out on seeing these brilliant musos put on one hell of a party.
