Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs have teamed up to cover Led Zeppelin’s classic ‘Immigrant Song’  for the upcoming David Fincher film The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Reznor recently won an Oscar for his work as co-composer of the score for The Social Network AKA ‘The Facebook Movie’.  Renewing his partnership with Fincher, Reznor’s musical collaboration with Karen O sees the Led Zepp classic given the industrial treatment and surprisingly  – it’s pretty good.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is the adaption of a novel which was unreleased at the time of Swedish author Stieg Larsson’s death in 2004. The novel, which formed part of a trilogy which were sleeper hits as novels and then as a Swedish language film, has been given the Hollywood treatment  blockbuster which is set for release in cinemas in December  featuring Daniel Craig and Christopher Plummer amongst the lead roles.
