Have you ever found yourself listening to Australian radio and finding each and every station to be the complete opposite of what you’re after? It’s alright, you’re not alone, and in fact, now triple j’s Ben & Liam have even gotten involved to parody the current state of Aussie radio.

In a new video published to their Facebook page, triple j’s breakfast hosts have taken a swipe at radio, with the clip showing the pair flicking through stations while riding in the car.

From annoying radio giveaways (“Cash! Cash! Cash! Win some bloody cash! Right after 40 minutes of ads”), to stations playing nothing but Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape Of You’ on repeat, Ben & Liam find themselves unable to find some decent airwaves.

Of course, between jabs at Frank Walker’s National Tiles ad and the overplaying of good old R&B Fridays, the pair even share their opinion of triple j’s Ben & Liam, responding “Shut up, I hate those guys.”

Ben & Liam also revived their classic ‘Zipper & The Shitstick” routine from last year which saw them win over listeners with their measured critique of commercial radio stations such as Triple M.
