triple j are set to put on one hell of a One Night Stand this year, as they deliver a stunning lineup to one regional Aussie town. Now, after a few days of waiting, we know exactly where we’ll be heading to on September 1st.

Earlier this week, triple j announced that this year’s edition of their annual One Night Stand concert is set to include the likes of  Canberra party starters Peking Duk, acoustic trailblazer Vance Joy and indie rock luminaries Middle Kids, in addition to songwriting champ Alex The Astronaut and hip-hop queen Tkay Maidza.

While that was all well and good, we’ve been left hanging in regards to a location until now, with triple j announcing the location of this year’s gig this morning. So if you’re keen on a huge lineup full of brilliant tunes, you’d better start making your way over to St Helens in Tasmania for one of the best days full of live music you’ll see all year.

If you’re not a Tasmanian local, don’t worry, because triple j will be broadcasting live from the event, both on the radio and online, so you won’t have to worry too much about that dreaded FOMO.

Now all that’s left is wait for the announcement of the triple j Unearthed artist who is set to score a coveted spot on this brilliant bill, and we’re expecting to hear that within a few weeks.

It’s all set to kick off on Saturday, September 1st. Head on over to the triple j website for more information, including location specifics, and just when you’ll be able to hear all the action if you can’t make it over to this year’s fest.
