Get ready to get down in the trenches and party until the Last Post as Tone Deaf presents our annual ‘Two Up’ Anzac Day Eve party. After last year’s massive night which saw Ding Dong rammed to the gunwhales, we’re back to do it all again bigger and better. Headlining a massive line up is the debut Melbourne show for Machete Moon, a Sydney supergroup featuring Cec Condon (The Mess Hall) and Myles Heskett (Ex Wolfmother). A percussion and rhythm heavy outfit, they’re joined by Millie Hall (Bridezilla) on saxophone, Chris Ross (Ex Wolfmother) on keys and Bree Van Reyk (Holly Throsby) on percussion. Throw in the psychedelic drones of The Laurels, as well as the garage nuggets of rising stars The Messengers, Red Aces and you’d have to agree, this is a ripper line up.

We’ll be having Two –Up between the bands where punters can play the bar for jugs of beer and the Tone Deaf DJs will be playing plenty of Aussie and Kiwi underground classics in between the usual indie rock, garage and psychedelic anthems. Throw in $10 jugs before 10pm and shot specials all night, and you can bet your arse that we’ll keep you partying until it’s time to hit the Dawn Service.
