Odd Future’s leader, Tyler, The Creator, has been a little quiet on the music front lately. Since releasing his third solo album Cherry Bomb in 2015, he’s appeared here and there on some releases, most recently appearing with Jay Z and Frank Ocean on the track ‘Biking’, but apart from that, there hasn’t been much for fans to tuck into. However, after posting some cryptic images on Twitter, some fans are starting to think that Tyler’s fondness of a two-year gap between albums might mean there’s new music on the way soon.

Two days ago, Tyler Tweeted an image of a bumblebee saying “7 days boy!”. Yesterday, he followed this up with another bumblebee, this time it was saying “6 days dude,” and today, another image of a bee saying “I’ma say like 5 days”. Logical people might be incredibly confused at this convoluted, bee-themed way of announcing something, but fans of Tyler basically accept this as the norm.

With a penchant for playing practical jokes, this might be all an elaborate hoax, constructed as a way for Tyler, The Creator to celebrate some bee-related holiday. Whatever the case though, we’ll undoubtedly find out in five days, but until then, we’ll certainly ‘bee’ buzzing with excitement.
