Tyler, The Creator has recorded multiple songs for the soundtrack of upcoming film animated ‘The Grinch. The latest trailer released for the Christmas classic features a funky reimagined version of the theme tune from 1966 cartoon special ‘How The Grinch Stole Christmas!‘, which was a collaborative effort between Tyler, The Creator and Danny Elfman, Deadline reports.

Elfman scored the film, with Tyler, The Creator reportedly penning a new song titled ‘I Am The Grinch’ to be included in the soundtrack.

The trailer included a line stating “Featuring new songs by Tyler, The Creator”, which hopefully indicates even more original tracks by the musician will appear.

The film boasts a massive cast, with Pharrell Williams in the role of narrator, Benedict Cumberbatch as Mr. Grinch himself, alongside voice acting from Rashida Jones, Keenan Thompson, Angela Lansbury and more.

Tyler, The Creator is a man of many talents, after getting his start in music and then foraying into fashion, this latest venture into the world of silver screens comes as no surprise.
