New Years Eve is just around the corner and the final touches are now being put in place on the annual Falls Festival which takes place every year in Lorne, Victoria and Marion Bay, Tasmania. Already boasting a huge lineup including Arctic Monkeys, Fleet Foxes, Crystal Castles, The Jezabels and more, organisers have a few last minute additions before their done.

Winners of the Unearthed competition to play at Falls in Lorne will be Melbourne’s I, a Man, with their hypnotic rhythms, ambient textures and dreamy melodies. Marion Bay will be delighted by the tunes of Hobart’s indie-pop group Ben Wells & the Middle Names, who deliver laidback acoustic charm against soulful vocals.

Capturing the JB Seed position at this year’s festival in Lorne is Gossling, with her tender sweet style and triple j hits ‘Days Are Over’ and ‘He Knows My Love’.

Tickets to Lorne sold out in just over an hour of going on sale so bad luck if you had designs to head down there and don’t have a ticket yet. Tickets are still available for the Marion Bay event, although 3-day passes are sold out and organisers predict the remaining 2-day passes to be exhausted soon too.
