After a few teases, fake posters, sneaky lineup leaks and its fair share of controversy, UNIFY: A Heavy Music Gathering has finally dropped its full lineup for 2018, and it’s a big one.

Parkway Drive lead day one with their ‘A Decade of Horizons’ show, followed by Architects in their only Aussie performance, and Tonight Alive. The second day is topped by The Amity Affliction celebrating their 15th anniversary, with Hands Like Houses and Hellions also leading the charge.

It’s the fourth year the festival has run, and it remains the only camping festival for lovers of heavy music in Australia, running over two nights from January 12-13 in Tarwin Lower in Victoria’s South Gippsland region.

Impressively, only one band has returned from the awesome spectacle that was 2017’s event, and more importantly UNIFY have made efforts to feature more female members on the bill, following criticism of its heavily male-dominated lineups in years past.

“We will have five acts with females in them out of the 29 playing UNIFY 2018,” festival organiser Luke says, asking UNIFY’s harcore fanbase for their help.

“We put together what I think is our best lineup yet, and managed to start making progress towards a more balanced look in the future. Next year, we want to do better. And the year after, we’d like to improve it even more. We’re open to suggestions on artists you’d love to see.”

For now, check out the full lineup below, and be ready to grab tickets when they go on sale at 12:30 pm sharp.
