Amid controversy surrounding I Killed the Prom Queen‘s appearance at the 2019 UNIFY Gathering festival, Triple J have announced that the metalcore outfit will no longer appear.

The band were slated to bring back their classic 2005 lineup for the first time in ten years for a festival-exclusive set.

UNIFY released the below statement regarding their decision.

Fans and industry people have begun weighing in on the controversy since IKTPQ were confirmed to play, voicing their opinions on the the decision.

But the show must go on.
