Tonight Alive have just unleashed a powerful new track, ‘Crack My Heart’, from their upcoming album Underworld, which is set for a January 12th release.

The soaring banger showcases the band’s further foray into straight up, hard rock territory, taking the catchy glory from their pop punk days and combining it with slamming breakdowns and dissonant guitar grooves.

On explaining the track, singer Jenna McDougall detailed that the concept revolves around, ”cracking the heart is to allow the precious, vulnerable self to come through and be free. The painful, yet liberating experience involves the emotional and energetic decalcification of the hardened heart.” She went on further to say how the lyrics “follow her conversations with a winged man” who offers “space and safety to do my healing with.”

The band have so far released lead single ‘Temple’, which also acts as a symbolic shift for the band’s era of healing and re-igniting. With both tracks showcasing grand lyrical themes and metaphors and the exploration of new musical ideas, Underworld is set to take the bands to new heights of rock super-stardom.
