After an extended wait and a couple of teases, Falls Music & Arts Festival has dropped its first lineup for 2016/17 – one that should have a wide variety of tastes covered.

Having already announced two headliners in Childish Gambino and London Grammar, it’s now been revealed that they’ll be joined by the likes of alt-rock legends Violent Soho, singer-songwriter Matt Corby, and indie rock outfit Ball Park Music.

Other big names sitting at the top of the lineup include The Avalanches, fresh off their recent performances at Splendour In The Grass, as well as Sydney producer/DJ Alison Wonderland repping the electronic side of the fence.

British indie kings Catfish And The Bottlemen are a notable international addition, bolstered by a slew of other guitar acts including U.S. rockers Grouplove, Melbourne alt/pop upstarts City Calm Down, Sydney darlings DMA’s, Aussie rock royalty Bernard Fanning, and last year’s triple j Hottest 100 winners The Rubens.

Client Liaison, AlunaGeorge and Broods have you covered for sleek electro pop, while Illy heads up a hip hop contingent that also features REMI, Tkay Maidza, and even the one and only Grandmaster Flash.

Here’s the announcement video, as well as a full lineup, dates and ticketing info below.
