The Foo Fighters are known for treating fans to epic covers of classic rock tracks during their sprawling live shows, that showcase their dedication and appreciation for the art of rock n roll.

Now, while using the very little free time they’re most likely allocated, the band have taken to the garage to embrace their love of legendary rock acts, filming an epic mash-up of Van Halen’s ‘Jump’ and John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’.

“Woodshedding for the summer tour has never felt so good….see you out there….(I’ll learn the words by then, I swear) Thanks to Mighty Mike for the inspirado. (Oh, and Halen and Lennon, too)” said Grohl on Twitter.

Foo Fighters recently brought their live show to Australian shores, covering classic tracks like ‘Under Pressure’, as well as treating Melbourne fans to a raucous cover of KISS’ ‘Detroit Rock City’ with opening act Weezer.

The act have also recently expressed interest in collaborating with Liam Gallagher, with Liam saying, “they wanted to do one tune, but I dunno – I’ll do it one day, but I’m too busy doing this at the moment.”
