Last week we saw a clip of Metallic singing along to Little Mermaid and Rihanna songs on their upcoming episode of Carpool Karaoke, and now they’ve jumped into a game of ‘Never Have I Ever’.

Packed into a car with host Billy Eichner, who takes over from creator James Corden on the Apple series, the band are quizzed on a few topics, coughing up harmless answers about their love for yoghurt, and some more embarrassing confessions.

The full episode is on its way later today, and will also see the band singing karaoke with fans in a supermarket, including one poor bloke in a Pantera tee shirt, who manages to stuff up the lyrics to ‘Enter Sandman’ and ruin his big moment.

Metallica have been pulling off a few cute stories of late, with Robert Trujillo’s bass prodigy son Tye has been touring with Korn as a full-blown member, making for a very sweet mini-doco, and a little girl replacing Lars on drums at one of their recent gigs.

The young girl named Kendalynn was picked out of the audience and sat behind Ulrich’s drumkit, where the drummer schooled her on how to rock Metallica-style.

She only managed to make it through a few seconds of ‘Seek and Destroy’, but that’s still way more than you have drummed in Metallica. “Oh, is that all?” Hetfield asked when Ulrich took over, which was a bit of a dick move we guess, but still makes for a funny watch.

Check out the new teaser for Carpool Karaoke below, and you can watch the entire thing on Apple Music.
