Ace Frehley recently embarked on a three-week tour in support of his latest solo album, a covers collection named Origins Vol. 1.

During the last show on the tour, in Seattle, Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready joined Frehley on stage for a blistering rendition of the KISS classic ‘Cold Gin’. McCready also plays on the version that appears on Origins Vol. 1.

This isn’t the first time members of the two stadium-filling bands have appeared together: a few years ago Frehley joined Pearl Jam on stage at Madison Square Garden, leading McCready to later gush to Rolling Stone: “When I was 13, I never thought in a million years that I would even talk to him; I’d probably pass out. And here I am playing with him!”
