Already announced as part of Pyramid Rock and Peats Ridge festival, Hanni El Khatib has announced shows in Melbourne and Sydney to showcase his unique sound influenced by his love of skateboarding and punk rock with 1950s and 60s classic Americana.

A first generation American son of Palestinian and Filipino immigrants, El Khatib describes his music as ‘knife fight music’ and will be touring off the back of the release of his debut album ‘Will The Guns Come Out’.

Since Tone Deaf spoke to Mr El Khatib himself – about his music, his upbringing and the one awesome time he supported Wanda Jackson – we are even more excited about checking out his dangerous live show in the next couple of weeks. Here’s your chance to be one of those people who said, ‘I saw him when…’

There’s still a couple of tickets left to purchase but the legends at Handsome Tours are saving us a couple of double passes for the Melbourne and Sydney performances, and you are gonna wanna get on these ones early. Enter below – being sure to allocate your city – and sit back, watch Hanni’s clip for “Fuck It You Win” and wait in unbridled anticipation. Yeow!
