The Twilights Concert Series is back again – bigger and better than ever! Twilights 2012 kicked off on the 21st of January with a special performance by Megan Washington – the first in a series of events as part of Melbourne Zoo’s 150th Anniversary Celebrations. The superb line-up of some of Australia’s favourite artists amid the magical setting of the Zoo under the stars, should not be missed!
This coming weekend iconic Australian rock band, The Beautiful Girls from the New South Wales coast, consisting of Mat McHugh on vocals and guitar, Paulie B on bass and Bruce Braybrooke on drums will to the Zoo Twilights stage. Their eclectic mix of rock, reggae, roots, folk and pop sounds make this band a popular choice. Since the band formed in 2002, they have released four full-length albums and one EP album and have won an ARIA Award, a J Award and been nominated for a Best Music Video award.
