Hmm, those people at the Soundwave Touring sure keep busy. Leaks and rumours suggest that not only will fans be able to enjoy the Soundwave Revolution Festival in late September and early October, but the workaholics at Soundwave are about to announce another festival in November. The Harvest Festival is set to bring  a very different type of line up from the rock, metal and emo bills we’ve been used to seeing from them. Rumours swirling suggest that Portishead and Bright Eyes will be joined by an indie fan’s dream bill with The Flaming Lips, The National, Aphex Twin, Mogwai and Janelle Monae all set to join the touring festival. According to info apparently accidentally leaked by several university websites as a call for installation proposals, the festival will cater for between 15 – 20,000 music fans. The call for submissions says:

Harvest is a one day outdoor music and arts festival taking place this November in Melbourne (12 Nov), Sydney (13 Nov) and Brisbane (19 Nov). Catering for a discerning music and cross-arts audience, festival goers will come to Harvest for the world-class line-up and return for the extraordinary overall experience.

Thrilling and magical, Harvest is a banquet for the senses: exhilarating music, stunning location, beautiful art installations, playful and subversive performance, quality food and markets, and a strong ecological and social consciousness.Created by the team behind Soundwave and Soundwave Revolution, Harvest will be a 15,000-20,000capacity event with a top international music bill.
